  • At 19, I trained as a public-health researcher to build methodologies that did not dismiss us. We secured healthcare for our immigrant and refugee neighbors.

  • At 22, I came to UW for a dual masters to build out my policy toolkit. We modeled participatory budgeting and the possibilities of student-led investment for climate justice.

  • At 24, I stepped up to become 1 of 16 reps appointed from across the state to implement our big environmental laws (HEAL and CCA) and serve community.

  • At 25, I became the youngest ever Co-Chair. I joined People's Economy Lab to co-pilot a new way of leading policy with community at the center.

  • I have worked with communities across the 37th LD and WA State to capture what our communities need: visionary leadership that will make a difference.
